Job summary

QNY Projects on the Gold Coast is seeking a Junior Contract Administrator to support live projects across procurement, documentation and commercial processes. This hands-on role sits with our delivery team and offers exposure to design, construction and close-out decisions.

You will work closely with project managers, subcontractors and site teams, bringing a minimum of two years of construction experience, strong Excel skills and a proactive mindset to help cost reporting, claims and variations.

Qualifications

• Minimum 2 years’ relevant construction industry experience.
• Experience with a developer-builder, head contractor or commercial builder.
• Construction Management, Quantity Surveying, Engineering or similar qualification, completed or underway.
• Strong Excel and general computer skills.

Responsibilities

• Subcontractor procurement, tendering and trade letting
• Preparing scopes of work and subcontract documentation
• Progress claims, variations and payment schedules
• Cost reporting, forecasting and procurement registers
• Reviewing subcontractor quotations and identifying scope gaps
• RFIs, project correspondence and document control
• Design and consultant coordination
• Supporting the site team with procurement and commercial matters
• Defects, project close-out and final accounts
