Job summary

Building People Recruitment Group on the Gold Coast seeks an Intermediate Contracts Administrator to join a growing developer-builder with a strong apartment market pipeline.

You will support with subcontractor scopes, tendering, variations, cost reporting and close coordination with site and senior commercial teams on a $100m+ apartment development, with two further projects planned.

This role offers continuity across multiple projects and advancement opportunities within a supportive team.

Qualifications

• Approximately three to five years of Contracts Administration experience.
• Experience with a commercial builder or developer-builder.
• Exposure to apartment or large-scale multi-residential building projects.
• Ability to independently manage subcontractor packages.
• Qualification in construction management or quantity surveying.
• Strong communication, organisation and commercial skills.
• Collaborative approach within a project team.

Responsibilities

• Prepare subcontractor scopes and trade packages.
• Assist with tendering, procurement and subcontractor negotiations.
• Let and administer subcontract agreements.
• Manage progress claims, variations and payment schedules.
• Maintain cost reports, forecasts and project documentation.
• Support the management of contractual correspondence.
• Monitor procurement schedules and commercial risks.
• Work collaboratively with the site team, consultants and subcontractors.
• Assist with project close-out, defects and final accounts.
