Wilder Fox is recruiting a Contract Administrator to support Construction By Design on large-scale fitout and refurb projects in NSW. You will coordinate contracts, manage budgets, and liaise with site teams to ensure on-time delivery.

A pathway to Project Manager exists for high-performing candidates. Ideal candidates have 3+ years in a similar role, tertiary qualifications in Building or Construction, and strong contract/tender experience.

• Ability to interpret design documents and manage budgets.
• Excellent time management and organisational skills.
• Strong negotiation skills and problem solving.
• Experience with procurement of subcontractors and suppliers.

Responsabilidades

• Coordinate and manage projects within budget, timeline and scope.
• Administer head contracts including claims, variations, EOTs and RFIs.
• Administer subcontracts including claim assessment and variations.
• Prepare procurement documentation and tender/pricing schedules.
• Conduct tender analysis and make recommendations.
• Negotiate with subcontractors and suppliers and prepare detailed scopes of works.
• Produce financial information to manage construction budget.
• Liaise with site staff and monitor site progress; provide status updates to the PM.
• Prepare quantities and take-offs as required.

About the role

Reporting to the PM you will be responsible for coordinating and managing projects within budget, timeline, and scope. Your duties will be;

• Administration of head contract including claims, variations, EOTs and RFIs
• Administration of subcontracts including claim assessment, variations
• Preparation of documentation for procurement of subcontractors and suppliers including tender and pricing schedules, scope of works
• Tender analysis and recommendations
• Negotiation with subcontractors and suppliers
• Preparation of subcontracts including detailed scope of works
• Produce financial information to accurately manage the construction budget
• Liaison with site staff and monitoring of site progress
• Provide regular status updates to the Project Manager for all facets of the projects
• Preparation of quantities and take off as required

Skills and experience

• Minimum 3 years’ experience in a similar role
• Tertiary qualifications in Building, Construction Management, Quantity Surveying or similar
• Thorough knowledge of contracts
• Strong negotiation skills
• Ability to interpret design documents
• Excellent time management and organisational skills
• Innovative and flexible in problem solving
• Extensive experience in tender processes and trade procurement.
