Core Talent is seeking a Contract Administrator for its Perth CBD-based team, focusing on commercial fit-out and construction projects.

Work closely with Project Managers to manage contractual and financial administration, budgets, and subcontractor performance across a diverse portfolio.

Qualifications

  • Previous experience as a Contract Administrator within commercial construction, fit-out or refurbishment.
  • Strong understanding of subcontractor procurement, trade packages and contract administration.
  • Demonstrated experience managing project budgets, cost reporting and forecasting.
  • Experience assessing progress claims, variations and subcontractor payments.
  • Sound commercial awareness and the ability to identify and manage contractual risks.
  • Strong organisational skills and attention to detail.
  • Confidence communicating with Project Managers, subcontractors and suppliers.
  • The ability to manage competing priorities across multiple projects.
  • A relevant construction or commercial qualification would be advantageous.

Responsibilities

  • Managing subcontractor procurement, including RFQs, tender comparisons, negotiations and contract awards.
  • Preparing, administering and managing subcontract agreements and trade packages.
  • Monitoring project budgets, costs, commitments and financial performance.
  • Preparing and maintaining project cost reports, forecasts and financial documentation.
  • Assessing subcontractor progress claims, variations and payment applications.
  • Managing variations, RFIs, contractual correspondence and project registers.
  • Supporting estimating, tendering and procurement activities.
  • Identifying commercial risks and working with the Project Manager to resolve issues.
  • Maintaining accurate project records and ensuring contractual compliance.
  • Assisting with project close-out, final accounts and subcontractor reconciliations.
  • Building strong relationships with subcontractors, suppliers and internal stakeholders.

Contract Administrator – Commercial Fit-Out & Construction

Core Talentestablished and growing Perth-based commercial interiors business is looking for an experienced Contract Administrator to join its expanding team. With a strong pipeline of commercial fit-out and refurbishment projects, this is an excellent opportunity to join a business where you'll have genuine ownership, work closely with project delivery teams and play an important role in supporting continued growth.

Working across a variety of commercial projects, you'll be responsible for managing the contractual and financial administration of projects, ensuring budgets are controlled, subcontractors are managed effectively and commercial outcomes are achieved.

The Role

Working closely with the Project Manager and wider delivery team, your responsibilities will include:

About You
