Job summary

KEY MARKETING SYDNEY PTY LTD– North Rocks NSW is seeking a content creator for photo and video production across social channels, websites and campaigns. You will plan shoots, direct on the day, review edits and ensure brand consistency while meeting client goals.

The role requires at least one year of content experience, a relevant degree or equivalent, and a driver’s license. Hybrid Sydney-based work with early starts and occasional weekend shoots are expected.

Responsibilities

• Plan and create photo, video and written content for clients’ social channels, websites and campaigns, to the brief and client goals.
• Plan and run shoots end to end: locations, talent, props, run sheets, budget and gear, and direct on the day.
• Manage each content job from signed proposal to final delivery, maintaining timelines and client expectations.
• Review and approve edited content before it goes to the client, ensuring quality and brand fit.
• Use campaign data and market insight to shape content in collaboration with the paid ads team.
• Coordinate with account managers and other teams to keep messaging consistent across channels.
• Guide the Content Assistant on shoot coordination and on-the-day support.
• Improve workflows and assist with campaigns and new tools.

Job Description

Who we are White Key Marketing is a full service marketing agency in Western Sydney. Social, content, paid ads, branding and websites, all under one roof, for local businesses and national brands.

Our line is We Make Noise, and the content team is where most of that noise gets made.

We back each other, we ship rather than polish forever, and if something needs doing, we do it. The job You plan, shoot and deliver photo and video content for our clients: cafes and restaurants, trades, retail, professional services and events.

One week you are on a 6 am shoot directing a chef through a dish. The next you are reviewing an editor’s cut of a founder’s story for Instagram and checking the 16:9 version for their website. You own each content job from the signed proposal to the final files in the client’s hands.

What you will do

• Plan and create photo, video and written content for clients’ social channels, websites and campaigns, to the brief and the client’s goals.
• Plan and run shoots end to end: locations, talent, props, run sheets, budget and gear, and direct on the day.
• Manage each content job from signed proposal to final delivery, holding the timeline, the quality standard and the client’s expectations.
• Review and approve edited content before it goes to the client, checking quality, accuracy, brand fit and platform best practice.
• Use campaign research, performance data and market insight to shape what we make, working with our paid ads team.
• Work with our account managers, organic social team, paid ads team and contract creators so messaging and brand voice stay consistent across channels.
• Guide our Content Assistant on shoot coordination, scheduling and on-the-day support.
• Improve how the content team works, and help the wider business when campaigns launch or new tools come in.

What you need

• At least one year creating photo and video content for brands, in an agency, in-house or freelance.
• A degree in film, media, communications, marketing or a related field, or equivalent experience.
• You can shoot: camera, lighting and sound.
• You can direct people who are not actors (owners, staff, customers) so they look and sound like themselves.
• You can read a brief and a performance report and change what you shoot because of it.
• You know what works on Instagram, TikTok, Facebook and YouTube, and the formats each one wants.
• Enough editing fluency in Premiere Pro, DaVinci Resolve or CapCut to review an editor’s cut properly and fix one yourself when needed.
• Organised: several client jobs at once, deadlines held, clients kept informed.
• A current driver licence, because shoots are across Sydney.

Hours, pay and place

• Full time and permanent, 38 hours a week, Monday to Friday, based at our North Rocks office with shoot days across Sydney. Shoot days can start early, run late or land on a weekend.
• $80,000 to $90,000 a year plus superannuation.
