Job summary

Workfast is seeking Container Unloaders to join our client’s busy food distribution operation based in Acacia Ridge, QLD. You will unload containers, handle cartons and pallets, and maintain hygiene standards.

This role offers Monday to Friday work, ongoing, with penalties and allowances and a chance to gain experience in food and logistics. Applicants should have a current Australian driver’s licence, forklift licence, and ability to pass pre-employment checks.

Qualifications

• Ability to perform repetitive and physically demanding tasks.
• Understanding of hygiene and food safety standards or willingness to learn.
• Reliable, punctual, and a strong team player.
• Able to pass a pre-employment medical and drug & alcohol test.
• Full Australian working rights.

Responsibilities

• Unloading containers filled with food products and packaged goods.
• Manual handling of cartons, boxes, and palletised stock.
• Sorting, stacking, and preparing stock for distribution.
• Operating a forklift where required.
• Maintaining cleanliness and hygiene standards in line with food safety requirements.
• Completing basic paperwork and following site procedures.
• Working in a team to meet daily targets.

Workfast partners with leading companies across Australia. We are currently looking for reliable workers to join a fast-paced warehouse environment handling food products and imports.

Key Responsibilities

• Unloading containers filled with food products and packaged goods


• Manual handling of cartons, boxes, and palletised stock


• Sorting, stacking, and preparing stock for distribution


• Operating a forklift (where required)


• Maintaining cleanliness and hygiene standards in line with food safety requirements


• Completing basic paperwork and following site procedures

What You Bring

• Current Australian Driver’s Licence

• Previous container unloading or warehouse experience (preferred)
