Lawson Port Logistics in Port Melbourne seeks an experienced reach stacker driver for a day shift. You will load and unload containers, stack freight safely, and operate in a Customs/quarantine environment with a strong emphasis on safety and accurate record-keeping.

The role requires prior heavy machinery experience and current high-risk work licences CN/C6 or RS. You will work Monday to Friday from 5:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m with rotating half-day Saturdays and a team-based, safety-focused culture.

Position:

Lawson Port Logistics requires an experienced container reach stacker driver in our depot at Port Melbourne. In this diverse role your responsibilities will include loading and unloading of containers, safe stacking of containers,safe handling of various types of freight operating in a Customs and quarantine-controlled environment. The role at Port Melbourne is a day-shift position with 10 to 12 hours a working day Monday to Friday from 5.00 a.m to 5.00 p.m and half day every other Saturday on a rotating roaster with the other Reach Stacker drivers.

Other key responsibilities include

• Safe loading and unloading of trucks
• Safe and effective stacking
• Demonstrating a high level of Safety and Process compliance.
• Accurately recording of loads and in-house operating system.
• Attention to detail and ability to maintain complete and accurate documentation.
• Ability to conduct pre-checks on machine and diagnose issues and repairs.
• Display a respect for the machinery.
• Be able to work effectively in a team.

Requirements:

• Previous experience in operating heavy machinery.
• Current & applicable High-risk Work Licence(s) including CN or C6 and or RS
• Be comfortable working in both a team environment and be able to perform tasks alone and unsupervised.
• Immediate start.
