Job summary

Footprints Community Ltd in Fortitude Valley, QLD, Australia seeks a Consumer Engagement Coordinator to lead consumer governance, embedding trauma-informed co-design across services. You will manage CAB and QCAB, ensure alignment with aged care and mental health standards, and prepare reports for Executive Management and the Board.

The role is full-time under SCHADS Award Level 6, with a salary range of $115,339–$120,437 plus super and salary packaging up to $15,900.

Qualifications

• Tertiary qualification in Human Services, Community Development, Social Sciences or equivalent.
• Experience in consumer, carer or lived experience engagement within community services.
• Experience coordinating consumer advisory structures (CAB/QCAB).
• Knowledge of aged care and mental health quality standards.
• Strong communication and relationship-building with diverse stakeholders.

Responsibilities

• Embed inclusive, trauma-informed co-design practices across programs.
• Coordinate CAB and QCAB governance, meeting schedules and reporting.
• Monitor alignment with Aged Care Act 2024 and quality standards.
• Analyse consumer feedback and prepare high-level executive reports.
• Provide guidance to build staff capability in participation and co-design.
