Job summary

Hexagon Autonomous Solution's is seeking an experienced Safety consultant to support and expand the ANZ safety portfolio. You will bridge technology deployment and operational adoption, advising mining clients on safety practices and the effective use of Hexagon’s safety technology in their operations.

Reporting to the Senior Manager Customer Services, you will collaborate with diverse stakeholders to drive adoption, integration and optimisation of safety solutions, with a hybrid work model

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Mining, Psychology, Human Factors, Safety or related field.
• Experience in mining production and safety for mining operations is preferred.
• Experience deploying OT technology in mining operations.

The Position:

Reporting to the Senior Manager Customer Services we are seeking a consultant - Safety to support and build our safety portfolio in ANZ region. Our APAC business is growing rapidly, and this newly created position will see you be integral partner to the wider business in defining and expansion of our consultancy services for our Safety portfolio

This position will bridge the gap between technology deployment through to operational adoption and optimisation, working with a variety of mining customers on the solution integration of our Safety technology (Hexagons OAS and CA) to their operations.

As a trusted advisor to customers, you will provide consultation, analysis, and operational guidance to improve and strengthen safety practices, providing guidance on practical strategies to enhance operational outcomes

In this role you will partner with a diverse stakeholder group to support the adoption, integration, and optimisation of safety technology to ensure solutions are embedded effectively.

Location: This role can be either based in our offices in -Hendra Queensland or Perth CBD Western Australia. Point of hire will be at such locations. The position requires hybrid so will work across office/site and WFH when required ability to attend office is a must.

About you

This opportunity is looking for experienced Mining professional (Technology/Safety/Operations) who has built career in Mining Automation from deployment through to adoption and ongoing operational support. Ideally where your experience as seen you exposed supporting or advising across automation deployment specific to HSE/Risk hazard awareness and utilisation of safety systems in field.

This role will offer the chance to utilise your expertise in a growing & high demand field working with a variety of mining clients at varied stages of safety maturity and capability.

• Bachelor's degree in Mining, Psychology, Human Factors, Safety, or related field, is desired not essential
• Prior experience in mining production and ideally within safety for mining operations.
• Prior experience in the deployment and integration of OT technology into mining operations
• Strong analytical capability with the ability to translate data into actionable insights
• Prior experience in leading or being involved in change management, or organisation development
• Preferably an understanding of human factors and safety principles in high-risk environments, would be desired not essential
• Ability to communication across all levels of stakeholders, adapting content and direction to relative audience.
• Prior experience leading new technology adoption or deployment in mining production, with understanding of critical stages through change management
