Job summary

Onterris Australia Pty seeks a Consultant Environmental Scientist to join our growing Contaminated Land and Water team from our Adelaide office. You will work alongside 45+ land and water professionals across Australia, mentoring and collaborating to deliver high-quality outcomes without an overemphasis on KPIs.

Qualifications

• 1-3 years consulting experience in contaminated land.
• Tertiary qualifications in Environmental Science, Environmental Engineering, Environmental Management or related disciplines.
• Solid understanding of South Australian and national environmental frameworks.

Responsibilities

• Plan and deliver field investigations across soils, groundwater and surface water.
• Prepare clear and high-quality reports for clients and stakeholders.
• Act as the client contact on site for Onterris during projects.

We are seeking a Consultant Environmental Scientist to join our growing Contaminated Land and Water team out of our growingAdelaideoffice,where you’ll have the opportunity towork alongside more than 45 land and water professionals across Australia who areactivelyinvested in mentoring,collaborationand your long-term career development.

This role willbe responsible for a full range of activities including:

• Planning and delivering field investigations across a variety of sites – including soil, groundwater, and surface water assessments
• Preparing clear and high-quality reports
• Acting as the representative/client contact on site for Onterris
• Attending business development meetings
• Supporting project managers and ensuring open and clear communications when in the field

Your Expertise and Skills

• 1-3 years consulting experience in contaminated land
• Tertiary qualifications in Environmental Science, Environmental Engineering, Environmental Management or related disciplines
• Solid understanding of South Australian and national environmental frameworks
• Confidence in the field and an eye for detail and technical excellence
