Job summary

Onterris Australia Pty in Brisbane seeks a Senior Environmental Scientist to join the Contaminated Land and Water team. You will work with more than 45 land and water professionals across Australia who are actively invested in mentoring, collaboration and your long-term career development.

You will lead projects to deliver on time and on budget, oversee site inspections, build client relationships and prepare complex reports while providing guidance on environmental legislation.

Qualifications

• Solid understanding of Queensland and national environmental frameworks.
• Industry certification (CEnvP or CPSS) or keen interest to pursue this.

We are seeking a Senior Environmental Scientist to join our Contaminated Land and Water team within our Brisbane office. This role will be responsible for a full range of activities including:

• Successfully project managing projects that are delivered on time and on budget
• Playing a key role in overseeing and conducting detailed site inspections
• Building and maintaining positive relationships with clients
• Preparing and submitting complex reports and proposals
• Providing advice regarding environmental legislation and guidelines
• Mentoring and developing juniors

Your Expertise and Skills

• Tertiary qualification from a recognised institute in Environmental Science/ Environmental Engineering/ Environmental Management or related field
• 7+ years experience within contaminated land and water
• Solid understanding of QLD and national environmental frameworks
• Industry certification (CEnvP or CPSS) or keen interest to pursue this
