Job summary

Latrobe Regional Health in Victoria is seeking Consultant Anaesthetists for permanent full‑time or part‑time roles. You will deliver high‑quality anaesthetic and perioperative care across diverse surgical specialties within a collaborative multi‑disciplinary team.

Qualifications

• Medical degree registrable with AHPRA.
• Fellowship of the Australian and New Zealand College of Anaesthetists (FANZCA) or equivalent.
• ANZCA Specialist Assessment confirms eligibility for Workplace-Based Assessment only.

Responsibilities

• Deliver high‑quality anaesthetic services across elective and emergency surgery.
• Provide perioperative assessment and optimisation of patients.
• Support theatre efficiency and perioperative planning.
• Participate in the on‑call roster.
• Supervise Anaesthetic Registrars, Junior Medical Officers and medical students.
• Contribute to multidisciplinary perioperative care.
• Participate in quality improvement, clinical governance and service development initiatives.
• Support teaching, education and CPD within the department.
