Job summary

Altis Consulting in Australia is seeking a Consultant to deliver data and analytics client solutions under supervision. You'll gain exposure to data warehousing, BI, analytics design, and cloud platforms while building a strong foundation in modern data practices.

You'll work on data pipelines, reporting, and dashboards, collaborating with clients and teammates to gather requirements and implement solutions.

Qualifications

• Tertiary qualification in IT-related subject, or relevant work experience.
• 1+ years relevant industry experience in a client-facing role.
• Demonstratable experience with databases and solution design/development.
• Demonstratable experience in development of Business Intelligence/ Reporting/Analytics Solutions.
• Demonstratable experience with contemporary programming languages/tools including experience with SQL.

Responsibilities

• Work under routine direction and manage time according to deadlines.
• Assist in developing data pipelines and data stores.
• Actively contribute to project delivery.
• Gathering user/business requirements.
• Data modelling / database design.
• Design & develop reports, dashboards & data visualisations and insights.
• Analysing data from multiple and varied sources.
• Planning and execution of unit and system testing.
• Support of UAT.
• Post production support.

How You'll Shape What's Possible:

As a Consultant at Altis, you will employ initiative and strong oral and written communication skills to deliver technical client solutions under supervision. You will perform a range of varied work activities in structured environments. You will also learn a variety of data and analytics platforms, and develop a strong foundation in Cloud platforms, Data Warehouse, Business Intelligence and Analytics design, tools, processes and implementation approaches.
