Job summary

Aus-Rack Australia Pty Ltd – Truganina VIC is seeking an experienced WHS Coordinator to join our team from early November. The project is based on a construction site, with responsibilities including developing WHS policies and providing advice to site managers.

Role requires 3–5 years in a similar WHS role, strong knowledge of ISO standards, a Diploma of OHS, and the ability to work autonomously on site. Training for racking systems may be provided.

Qualifications

• 3–5 years’ experience in a similar WHS role.
• Strong knowledge of ISO45001, ISO45001, ISO14001, ISO9001 and related standards.
• Diploma of OHS or equivalent qualification.

Responsibilities

• Interpreting WHS legislation, Codes of Practice, and relevant Australian Standards.
• Assisting with the development and review of WHS strategies, policies, and procedures.
• Providing WHS advice and support to Managers and Supervisors.
• Conducting audits and site inspections.
• Completing risk assessments and developing safe systems of work.
• Undertaking incident investigations and assisting with rehabilitation and return‑to‑work processes.
• Ensuring national compliance with all WHS legislation.
• Meeting project deadlines and complying with site requirements.
• Performing physically demanding tasks.
• Assisting with building and installing racking systems (training provided).
