Job summary

SkillCentred Queensland offers full-time traineeships in the construction sector, with a 9 day fortnight and a 20-week duration. Applicants must provide date of birth and address, be at least 15 years old, and not currently attend school.

Pay rates follow the National Training Wage Award, calculated from your highest school level and years out of school. Every trainee participates in community-based projects and may earn a Certificate I in Construction, serving as a pathway to an apprenticeship

Job description

SkillCentred has a number of traineeship positions available for individuals wanting to gain experience in the construction industry.

Full-time traineeship

9 day fortnight

20weeks

no longer be enrolled/attending school

Pay rates arein accordance with the National Training Wage Award and is calculated on your highest school level completed and the number of years you've been out of school.

Each trainee will be involved in community-based construction projects and will have the opportunity to gaina Certificate I in Construction qualification including white card.This qualification is a pathway to an apprenticeship in carpentry and associated trades.
