Job summary

Council in Sydney's Upper North Shore is seeking a Construction Supervisor to coordinate and deliver civil infrastructure works, including roads, bridges, and drainage. You will manage crews on site, plan work packages, and ensure compliance with safety and site management plans.

The role supports 35 hours per week with flexible start/finish times, RDOs every fortnight, and potential extension or transition to a permanent position. Previous supervisor experience is valued.

Qualifications

• Certificate III in Civil Construction, or relevant qualifications.
• Previous experience as a Construction Supervisor is highly desirable.
• Significant knowledge of road, drainage and bridge construction and maintenance.
• Interpersonal and great communication skills to lead your team.

• Supervise labour, plant, cost estimates, work programs and risk management.
• Schedule materials and upkeep of relevant management plans.

ABOUT THE COMPANY.

Join a Council as a Construction Supervisor located in the Upper North Shore of Sydney. Local Government offer 35 hours per week, flexible start and finish times, RDO's and stability in contract roles with potential for extension or transition into a permanent role.

ABOUT THE POSITION.

As a Construction Supervisor you will be responsible for the coordination and management of work crews to carry out the pre-planning and delivery of civil infrastructure works including roads, bridges, stormwater drainage, both greenfield and brownfield maintenance.
