Job summary

Ivory Group is seeking a Construction Supervisor for a Council project in Sydney's Upper North Shore. You will oversee a team of contractors onsite, coordinating pre-planning and delivery of civil works including roads, drainage and bridges.

You will manage staff, labour, plant, cost estimates, schedules and risk, with RDOs and flexible hours. This is a 12-month contract with potential extension and competitive hourly rates.

Qualifications

• Certificate III in Civil Construction or equivalent.
• Experience as Construction Supervisor preferred.
• Strong knowledge of road, drainage and bridge construction and maintenance.

ABOUT THE COMPANY.

Join a Council as a Construction Supervisor located in the Upper North Shore of Sydney. Local Government offer 35 hours per week, flexible start and finish times, RDO's and stability in contract roles with potential for extension or transition into a permanent role.

ABOUT THE POSITION.

As a Construction Supervisor you will be responsible for the coordination and management of work crews to carry out the pre-planning and delivery of civil infrastructure works including roads, bridges, stormwater drainage, both greenfield and brownfield maintenance.

• Schedule materials and upkeep of relevant management plans
• Manage staff and carry out annual staff performance assessments

SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE.

• Certificate III in Civil Construction, or relevant qualifications
• Previous experience as a Construction Supervisor is highly desirable
• Significant knowledge of road, drainage and bridge construction and maintenance
• Interpersonal and great communication skills to communicate effectively and lead your team
