Elecnor is seeking an experienced HSE Manager to lead health and safety on our construction site. You will drive policy development, risk assessments, and incident investigations to protect workers and the environment.

A strong understanding of Australian WHS regulations and contractor duties is essential, with ICAM experience highly valued. You will work closely with project managers and subcontractors to embed safety excellence, conduct toolbox talks, and deliver training.

Qualifications

• 10+ years of site-based HSE leadership on major Australian construction projects, including solar/wind farm projects and BESS safety hazards.
• Solid knowledge of Australian HSE legislation, regulations, and Principal Contractor duties.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office and data management/reporting tools.
• Preferred: ICAM Lead Investigator, Emergency Management, Internal Auditor, Return to Work Coordinator, Senior First Aid, and Drug & Alcohol Tester.

Responsabilités

• Develop, implement, and enforce safety policies and procedures compliant with regulations.
• Conduct regular site inspections to identify and mitigate hazards.
• Perform risk assessments for construction activities and environmental risks.
• Develop risk mitigation strategies and emergency response plans.
• Provide HSE orientation and training for all site personnel.
• Lead investigations into accidents, incidents, and near misses using ICAM or equivalent methods.
• Maintain accurate records of incidents and resolutions; liaise with regulators as needed.
• Ensure compliance with environmental regulations and company policies; minimize environmental impact.
