Job description

• Rare opportunity to join one of Sydney's leading construction contractors
• Employer of choice
• Strong pipeline of work
• 80% repeat clients
• Relationship based culture

With almost four decades of success, this established mid-tier building contractor has earned a strong reputation within the construction industry for reliability, delivering high-quality buildings and a portfolio of interesting and often complex new build, fit-out and refurbishment projects.

Operating across the education, sport and recreation, aged care and social housing sectors, the business has built its success on long-standing client relationships, a collaborative approach and a genuine commitment to delivering outstanding outcomes. More than 80% of its work comes from repeat clients, reflecting the trust it has established and the consistency of its delivery.

The company also prides itself on its true partnership approach with subcontractors, fostering strong working relationships that contribute to successful project outcomes. Internally, staff turnover is exceptionally low, and opportunities at this level are rare. The organisation is also heavily invested in the local community, regularly getting involved in charity events and giving back to worthy causes.

Due to a strong pipeline of secured work and a full order book, the business has identified a need for an additional Project Manager to join the team and deliver new build and refurbishment projects valued between $20M and $30M.

This role will suit a confident and capable Project Manager who can take ownership of projects from inception to completion, lead high-performing project teams and build strong relationships with clients, consultants, subcontractors and other key stakeholders.

You must have a proven track record of delivering projects of a similar scale and complexity, outstanding communication and stakeholder engagement skills, and a genuine team-first leadership style.

This is a genuine opportunity to join an established, financially secure, award-winning builder with a strong pipeline of meaningful work. The business truly values relationships and can offer long-term security and longevity.
