Job summary

Northern Civil Solutions Pty Ltd – Cairns QLD is seeking an experienced Construction Project Manager to lead building and infrastructure projects across Far North Queensland.

This client-facing role requires confident communication, strong relationships with clients, Councils, contractors and consultants, and delivery from design through to completion.

The role is based between Gordonvale and remote sites with fortnightly travel; a company vehicle is provided. Salary is $145,000 + Super – Fixed.

Qualifications

• Strong construction project management experience.
• Experience managing building projects from design through delivery.
• Strong client-facing and relationship management skills.
• Ability to manage multiple projects, contractors and consultants.
• Local Government experience highly regarded.
• Current Australian Driver's Licence.
• Ability to undertake regular remote travel.

The Role

You will manage projects from design and procurement through construction and completion, including:

• Minor and major building projects

• Housing construction and extensions

• Community infrastructure

• Development and approval progression

• Design and construction packages

• Contractor, consultant, program and budget management

• Client liaison, reporting and relationship management

Our work is predominantly within the Local Government sector, including regional and remote communities.

Location & Travel

The role is based between our Gordonvale office and remote locations.

Fortnightly remote travel is a requirement of the position. Travel, accommodation and meals associated with remote work are provided. No additional travel or remote-work allowance applies, as this has been considered within the above-award salary package.

A company vehicle is available during work hours where local travel is required from the Gordonvale office.
