Job summary

Young Contractors Pty Ltd is seeking a Project Manager to plan and oversee construction projects from inception to handover. You will coordinate people and processes to deliver on time, within budget, and to client objectives, acting as liaison between project team, client, and leadership.

You will monitor progress, report to stakeholders, identify risks and implement mitigation strategies. You will require a Diploma in Project Management, a trades background, and strong knowledge of project

Qualifications

• 3 years in construction as Project Manager/Operations Manager/Superintendent
• Clear client communication to understand needs and foster confidence
• Forward planning, coordination and management of industrial projects, scheduling and budget management
• Identify project-specific risks and implement mitigation plans while monitoring safety performance

Responsibilities

• Deliver projects and hand over to client
• Maintain a project budget
• Provide project reporting and end-of-month claim documentation
• Consult with management, clients and subcontractors
• Mentor project staff and team members
• Coordinate employees, subcontractors and machinery
• Build and maintain client relationships
• Ensure all client requirements and expectations of safety, quality, schedule and budget are met
