Job summary

McCormack is seeking multiple Project Coordinators to join the Melbourne Projects team. You will coordinate resources, stakeholders and activities to ensure safe, on-time delivery within budget and to quality standards, reporting to the Project Director.

You’ll work with an assigned Project Manager, applying strong project-management practices, ensuring documentation, variations and financials are well-managed, and maintaining relationships with clients and suppliers.

Qualifications

• Minimum 2 years’ experience coordinating construction projects of similar size and scope.
• Qualification in Engineering, Construction Management or related field.
• Construction White Card (or ability to obtain).
• First Aid Certificate Level 2 (or ability to obtain).
• Certificate III in Workplace Health and Safety (or ability to obtain).
• Strong knowledge of project management methodologies, tools and best practices.
• Excellent communication, negotiation and stakeholder management skills.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate pre-construction activities including design, planning, procurement and project setup.
• Manage delivery activities with resources, schedules, information and documentation.
• Monitor progress and communicate status to stakeholders.
• Administer scope changes, variations and contractual requirements.
• Maintain project records, reports and financial management systems.
• Oversee budgets, cash flow, invoices and variation approvals.
• Build and maintain relationships with clients, consultants, contractors and suppliers.
• Attend meetings, reviews and site inspections to support outcomes.
• Support handovers, defect resolutions and warranties.
• Promote health, safety, environmental and quality standards across projects.
