Job summary

Glencore is seeking a Construction Manager to lead the delivery of the Black Star Open Cut (BSOC) Project. The role will start in Brisbane, then transition to a FIFO/DIDO arrangement to Mount Isa during execution, on a Monday–Friday roster.

You will own planning, coordination and execution of all construction activities in a safe, efficient and high‑quality manner within a mining and processing environment, coordinating multiple contractors and handover to operations.

Qualifications

• Extensive experience leading construction on major mining or industrial projects.
• Proven ability to manage large contractor workforces and interfaces.
• Knowledge of SHMS and safety leadership in live operations.

Responsibilities

• Lead development and execution of the project construction strategy.
• Manage all construction activities in line with approved scope, cost, schedule and quality.
• Drive safe, predictable and efficient construction delivery outcomes.
• Oversee contractor performance, governance and workforce mobilisation.
• Coordinate brownfield integration with mining operations and support commissioning.
