About the Role

Reporting to the Project Delivery Manager, the Construction Manager will play a key role in supporting the delivery of complex infrastructure projects across Australia's energy sector, including utility-scale BESS, BESS system integration, high-voltage transmission and distribution systems, heavy fleet electrification, and data centres.

This is a hands-on construction leadership role for someone who thrives in complex delivery environments and likes being close to the work. You will be responsible for the safe and efficient delivery of high-voltage transmission line and substation projects across Victoria, working alongside experienced Project Managers, delivery teams and contractors to achieve strong project outcomes.

This role's location will be a mix between project sites, Clayton (Project Delivery headquarters), and Melbourne CBD (headquarters)

About You

You're a practical, accountable construction leader who enjoys taking ownership and seeing work through to completion. You're comfortable navigating complexity, making decisions and leading teams in dynamic site environments. Above all, you're solutions-focused, build strong relationships, and deliver work safely and efficiently. We'd particularly like to hear from candidates who bring:

Experience delivering high-voltage transmission line and/or substation projects within a contractor environment. We're also open to candidates who have built transferable skills in adjacent industries.

A trade or engineering qualification, or equivalent construction leadership experience.

Proven ability to lead site-based teams, contractors and subcontractors on large-scale infrastructure or utilities projects.

Strong working knowledge of construction safety, risk management, contractor management and project delivery.

A practical, resilient and collaborative approach, with sound judgement, the confidence to challenge constructively and the ability to stay focused under pressure.

A current Australian Driver's Licence.
