Job summary

GR Engineering Services Limited seeks an experienced Construction Manager for a North Parkes NSW project. The role requires a proven track record delivering large, complex projects in EPC/EPCM contexts and managing on-site construction teams.

The successful candidate will lead safety culture, control budgets and schedules, and ensure client satisfaction while coordinating with design and field teams. FIFO/DIDO from NSW/QLD is required.

Qualifications

• 10+ years of experience in Construction Management roles.
• Professional engineering or trades background.
• Experience in managing onsite Construction contractors on large Tier 1 contracts.
• Experience in design or construction management within mining/resource or materials handling industries.

Responsibilities

• Enforce safety protocols and train personnel to meet HSE standards.
• Foster a positive, productive work culture for a diverse team of supervisors and engineers.
• Maintain strong client relationships and effective communication with client representatives.
• Drive project success by managing budget, schedule and overall delivery.
• Oversee all construction operations on-site from start to commissioning.
• Review site plans to ensure alignment with project objectives.
• Identify and mitigate project risks to ensure successful outcomes.
• Ensure compliance with GRES/Client policies, industry standards and safe work procedures.
