Job summary
La Trobe Financial is seeking a Progress Payments Officer to administer and manage a portfolio of construction and development loans, facilitating progress payments and guiding stakeholders through the drawdown process.
You will monitor construction progress, liaise with borrowers, brokers, builders, solicitors, valuers and quantity surveyors, and ensure funding conditions are met prior to funds release. Strong attention to detail and stakeholder management are essential.
Qualifications
- Experience in banking, lending, financial services or customer service environment.
- Exposure to construction lending, development lending or progress payments is desirable.
Responsibilities
- Manage an allocated portfolio of development and construction loans through construction stages.
- Prepare and assess progress payment requests per policies and procedures.
- Ensure documentation and conditions precedent are satisfied before funds release.
- Monitor loan activity and construction progress; maintain records and notes.
- Review valuation and quantity surveyor reports for progress payment assessments.
- Provide updates on construction progress and NOA portfolios as required.
