Job summary

WICS is seeking Construction Labourers/Installers to install steel tanks across Queensland, including rural and commercial sites. The role requires occasional away work with provided accommodation and training for pad construction; weekend work is possible.

A White Card and a valid Driver's Licence are mandatory, with MR licence highly preferred. Experience with Bobcat/Excavator and water handling equipment is desirable.

Qualifications

• White card required for construction sites.
• Driver's license is mandatory.
• MR license highly preferred or required.
• Ability to work away for 8–12 days on occasion.
• Open to learning new skills.

Responsibilities

• Install steel tanks across rural and commercial sites in Queensland.
• Operate hand and power tools and machinery as needed.
• Assist with pad construction and site preparations (training provided).
• Maintain safe work practices and document tasks as required.
• Weekend work and variable rosters may apply.
• Accommodation provided when working away (camping or motel/Airbnb).

Job description

Due to a further increase of work we are seeking an Construction Labourer/Installer or Multiple persons.

Basics:

Installing Steel Tanks around Queensland both Rural and Commercial

Work at times in Solar/Gas/Energy projects

Operate machinery at times constructing pads (training can be provided)

Weekend Work is required - as weekdays at times can be days off

Involves away work with some camping out or Motel/Airbnb style provided accommodation

Use of Hand and Power tools

White card

Drivers License is mandatory

Able to work away for periods of time - up to 8-12 days at times - not often.

Not mandatory however highly preferred (open to those who are willing to learn)

MR license

Bobcat and Excavator Experience

Experience with Water handling equipment

Hourly rate above award pending age and ability

Fortnightly retention allowance on offer

Weekend uplift when required
