Job summary

Stroud Homes Dubbo is seeking a Construction Labourer / Yard Hand for a full-time or part-time role based in Dubbo, NSW. You will support our construction and site operations teams with practical tasks.

Responsibilities include assisting with carpentry tasks, loading and transporting materials, setting up sites, and helping keep yards and trailers clean while maintaining WHS standards. Applicants should have a valid drivers license, MR license or willing to obtain it, forklift license or willing

Qualifications

• Current unrestricted driver's license (no P platers)
• MR truck license or willing to obtain license at our expense
• Forklift license or willing to obtain license at our expense
• Desirable: Bobcat / Skid steer operator
• Holders of a White Card preferred but not essential
• A positive, energetic, and hardworking attitude
• Experience in a similar labourer or yard hand role, ideally within the construction industry
• Part time hours are available
• A demonstrated commitment to workplace health and safety
• The ability to follow instructions and work effectively as part of a team
• Applicants must be local to Dubbo and live in the area

We have an exciting full-time or part-time opportunity for a Construction Labourer / Yard Hand to join the team at Stroud Homes Dubbo. Based in Dubbo, NSW 2830, this role will involve providing vital support to our construction and site operations teams.

What you'll be doing

Assisting the construction team with carpentry tasks

Loading, unloading and transporting materials and equipment within the region

Building site establishment - erecting site fence, toilet and ensuring sites are clean and meet WHS requirements

General maintenance to trailers, equipment and within the yard

Providing hands-on support to tradespeople as needed

Ensuring a safe and tidy work environment at all times

What we're looking for
