Job summary

Local Workforce Hire is seeking a Casual Construction Assistant to join their team on the Gold Coast. Earn $35.11 per hour with 11.5% super and a $22 daily travel allowance, plus regular weekly pay.

Immediate start and ongoing casual assignments provide a pathway to permanent roles for reliable workers. You will work across a variety of sites including landscaping, residential and commercial construction, assisting trades and performing general labouring duties as required.

Qualifications

• Minimum 12 months' experience in general labouring or as a Trade Assistant.
• Construction White Card is required.
• A current Driver Licence and reliable transport is highly preferred.

Responsibilities

• Assist trades on construction, landscaping and related sites.
• Site preparation, material handling and cleaning tasks.
• Support qualified tradespeople and maintain safety on site.
• Handle manual labour duties across various projects as required.
