Job summary

Local Workforce Hire in Blacktown is seeking a casual Construction Assistant to support trades on domestic and commercial sites. The role offers consistent casual shifts, weekly pay, and a clear path to permanent work.

You'll perform site prep, material handling, cleanup, and assist qualified tradespeople across landscaping, construction, and shopfitting projects; a white card and a valid license help, with the target pay of about $35.11 per hour plus super and travel allowance.

Qualifications

• Minimum 12 months' experience in general labouring or as a Trade Assistant.
• Construction White Card.
• Driver Licence and reliable transport preferred.
• Ability to perform physically demanding work.

Responsibilities

• Assist tradespeople on site across a variety of tasks.
• Site preparation and cleanup.
• Wheelbarrow/material handling and lifting.
• Support in demolition, install, and finishing tasks as required.
• General labouring duties to keep sites tidy and safe.
