Local Workforce Hire is actively seeking a casual Construction Assistant to support a variety of building and landscaping projects. The role offers consistent weekly pay, 35.11 AUD per hour, and opportunities for ongoing casual work with potential permanent placement.

The successful candidate will have at least 12 months' general labouring experience, a Construction White Card, and a current driver licence with reliable transport.

Qualifications

• 12 months' experience in general labouring or as a Trade Assistant.
• Construction White Card held.
• Current Driver Licence and reliable transport preferred.
• Physically demanding work ability.
• Strong work ethic and reliability.

Responsibilities

• Assist across commercial and residential landscaping and construction sites.
• Support warehouse fit-outs, shopfitting and carpentry projects.
• Perform site prep, cleanup and general labouring duties.
• Assist qualified tradespeople and handle materials safely.
• Maintain housekeeping and equipment readiness on site.
