Job summary

Marsh is seeking an Account Executive to join the BRIC Builders team in its Melbourne office. This hybrid role requires three days in the office weekly and focuses on growing and retaining construction insurance business.

You will collaborate with senior brokers and underwriters to deliver tailored insurance solutions for builders, contractors and developers. Key capabilities include client proposals, policy placements, renewals, risk presentations and CRM data management.

Qualifications

• Experience in insurance, construction, risk, or related professional services.
• Strong attention to detail and written and verbal communication skills.
• Commercial mindset with ability to learn insurance terminology quickly.
• Proactive, client-focused and able to work well in a team.
• Comfortable using Microsoft Office and Marsh systems.

Responsibilities

• Support senior brokers in preparing client proposals, insurance programs and tender submissions for construction projects.
• Assist with policy placement, renewals and endorsements across contract works, liability, plant & equipment, and professional indemnity where applicable.
• Prepare and maintain client documentation, coverage summaries and risk presentations.
• Liaise with clients, underwriters and internal teams to gather information and resolve queries.
• Assist with claims notifications and support claims management activities.
• Conduct market research, identify suitable insurers and maintain insurer relationships.
• Help develop and maintain accurate data in CRM (MPower) and other systems.
• Participate in client meetings and site visits as required.
• Support the BRIC team with the domestic building insurance portfolio.
