Job summary

Bluestone Recruitment is seeking a Contract Administrator to support the successful delivery of projects from procurement through to completion. You will work with the Project Manager, Director, trades, suppliers and subcontractors to help ensure projects are delivered safely, efficiently, on time and within budget.

Based in South Melbourne, this role offers exposure to apartments, infrastructure, schools and warehouses, with direct mentoring from an experienced Project Manager and Director, and

Qualifications

• Experience coordinating trades and suppliers.
• Exposure to procurement and subcontract administration.
• Understanding of project budgets, costs and variations.
• Strong organisational and time management skills.
• Excellent communication and relationship-building abilities.
• Proactive, practical and solutions-focused approach.
• Strong attention to detail and ability to manage competing priorities.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate trades, suppliers and subcontractors
• Assist with project planning and day to day project coordination
• Manage procurement activities and obtain competitive pricing
• Administer subcontractor agreements and documentation
• Assist with progress claims, variations and payment schedules
• Obtain and coordinate building permits and approvals
• Assist with managing project budgets and costs
• Maintain project records, registers and documentation
• Support the Project Manager and Director with project reporting
