Job summary

Hansen Yuncken Sydney is offering a Construction Cadetship designed for high-performing 2nd or 3rd year students. The program provides exposure across contract administration, safety, planning, design coordination and site management on major commercial projects in Sydney.

Cadets will work with experienced professionals, receive mentoring and structured learning while balancing four study‑friendly days per week, with a pathway to a long‑term career with a leading builder.

Qualifications

• Currently in 2nd or 3rd year of a Construction Management, Engineering or related degree.
• Studying at a recognised Australian university.
• Passionate about pursuing a career in commercial construction.

Responsibilities

• Exposure across pre-construction and project delivery through structured rotations.

We are currently seeking Construction Cadets to join our Sydney team.

This opportunity is ideally suited to high-performing 2nd or 3rd year students currently studying a Bachelor of Construction Management, Civil Engineering, Construction Engineering, or a related discipline at a recognised Australian university.

Our cadetship program is designed to provide exposure across key areas of pre-construction and project delivery, through structured rotations including:

• Contract Administration


• Health & Safety


• Planning & Programming


• Design Coordination


• Site Management

As a Cadet, you will work alongside experienced industry professionals, gaining practical, hands‑on experience on major commercial construction projects, while building a strong foundation for a successful career in the industry.

About the Role

• Typically, 4 days per week, structured around study commitments
