Job summary

Colin Biggers & Paisley in Sydney is seeking a construction associate or senior associate to join our established team. You will provide clients with legal advice, review case law, and conduct research to deliver timely, commercial guidance.

Qualifications

• 3+ years PQE with front and back-end experience.
• Ability to manage large volumes of documents.

About the role:
This is an exciting opportunity for an Associate or Senior Associate to work in an established construction practice.

• Providing clients with legal advice
• Regularly reviewing applicable case law and legislative changes
• Conducting effective legal research and analysis to produce timely, commercial and legally accurate advice
• Managing a robust workload, including prioritising work and delivering services effectively

About you:

• 3+ years' PQE and can hit the ground running
• Will have experience in both front and back-end work, with a desire to lean into front-end work
• Self-motivated and confident
• An aspiration to be an integral member of a strong and cohesive team who work together
• Ability to manage large volumes of documents
• Strong attention to detail
• Practical and client focused problem solving and research skills
• Previous exposure to Business Development and a natural ability to build strong client relationships
• Ability to manage client expectations and run matters autonomously

• Ability to relate to people at all levels and effectively work in a team
