Job summary

Local Workforce Hire is seeking a Casual Construction Assistant to support a range of building and landscaping projects. Earn $35.11 per hour with 11.5% super and a $22 daily travel allowance, plus weekly pay and ongoing casual assignments. Immediate start and a pathway to permanent roles available.

You will be involved in site preparation, material handling, and assisting qualified tradespeople across commercial and residential sites, with a reliable team and supportive onboarding.

Qualifications

• 12 months' experience in general labouring or as a Trade Assistant.
• Construction White Card.
• A current Driver Licence and reliable transport.
• Able to perform physically demanding work.

Responsibilities

• Site preparation and clean-up.
• Wheelbarrowing materials.
• Digging and trenching.
• Lifting and carrying materials.
• Packing and stacking.
• Assembling products and assisting qualified tradespeople.
• General labouring duties on site.
