Job summary

Local Workforce Hire is seeking a Casual Construction Assistant to support busy builders, landscapers and industrial teams. If you’re reliable, physically fit and enjoy hands-on work, this casual role offers regular shifts and potential permanent opportunities.

You’ll handle site prep, material handling, digging, wheelbarrowing and assisting tradespeople. Expected pay starts at $35.11 per hour with weekly pay, superannuation, and travel allowances.

Qualifications

• 12 months general labouring experience or trade assistant experience.
• Construction White Card held.
• Current Driver Licence and reliable transport preferred.
• Able to perform physically demanding work.
• Reliable and punctual with a strong work ethic.

Responsibilities

• Site preparation and clean-up.
• Wheelbarrowing materials and assisting with digging/trenching.
• Lifting, carrying and packing materials.
• Assisting qualified tradespeople on site.
• General labouring duties across multiple projects as required.
