Job summary

Chandler Macleod Group is seeking an experienced Construction Advisor (Electrical) to support safe, compliant and efficient delivery of site-based construction projects at Marandoo. This field-based role focuses on contractor engagement, safety leadership and construction assurance to drive successful outcomes.

Reporting to the Construction Superintendent, you will oversee day-to-day execution, coordinate across trades and ensure work aligns with RTIO standards and schedules.

Qualifications

• Proven experience in site-based construction delivery across multi-disciplinary works, specialising in electrical project delivery.
• Strong understanding of contractor management, safety systems and construction governance.
• The ability to interpret technical drawings, work packs and project scopes.
• A strong commitment to safe, planned and disciplined project execution.
• Experience with QA/QC processes, including site inspections, ITPs and ITRs.
• Strong relationship-building skills with the ability to work effectively with contractors, site teams and key stakeholders.
• The ability to manage changing priorities, solve problems and make practical decisions in a dynamic site environment.
• Strong communication skills, with the ability to influence and coach contractors to achieve safe work outcomes.
• A current C‑Class Driver’s Licence.
• A Section 26 appointment.
• Electrical trade or equivalent experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Support the safe delivery of projects from feasibility through to implementation and handover.
• Collaborate with project leads, contractors and site teams to ensure construction activities are safely planned and executed.
• Support teams and contractors to deliver work in accordance with RTIO standards, safety requirements and project expectations.
• Liaise with operations to coordinate shutdowns, tie-ins and construction activities in line with production requirements.
• Ensure incidents are reported, investigated and corrective actions are implemented and closed out.
• Conduct Leadership in the Field interactions to engage with work teams, identify risks and reinforce safe work practices.
• Provide guidance and support to contractor teams to ensure alignment with RTIO systems, processes and site expectations.
• Promote RTIO values of Care, Courage and Curiosity while maintaining a strong safety culture.

We are seeking an experienced Construction Advisor (Electrical) to support the safe, compliant and efficient delivery of site-based construction projects. About the Role

Reporting to the Construction Superintendent, you will provide day‑to‑day construction execution support, contractor assurance and site coordination across multi‑disciplinary works. You will work closely with project leads, operations, H&S teams and contracting partners to ensure work is completed safely, on schedule and in line with RTIO requirements.
