Job summary

Department of Environment, Tourism, Science and Innovation QLD Boonah is seeking rangers to help conserve and maintain the network of national and conservation parks in Greater Brisbane. You will work with other Rangers, contractors and a range of partners and stakeholders to deliver positive outcomes for the environment and community.

A valid unrestricted manual driver's license is the mandatory requirement; ideal candidates will have experience in fire management, pest and asset management,

Qualifications

• Unrestricted manual driver's license is mandatory.
• Experience in fire and pest management and asset management.
• Demonstrated ability to lead small teams.
• Understanding of relevant Queensland parks and forests legislation.
• Ability to handle a varied, physically active work program.
• Strong computer skills including Microsoft Office suite.
• Commitment to First Nations stakeholder engagement.
