Job summary

Mercy Community in Ipswich, Queensland is recruiting a Team Manager to coordinate the Connected Families program. Based in Ipswich, you will lead service delivery, ensure client needs are met and supervise staff within available resources, while fostering client engagement and collaboration with stakeholders.

You will have relevant qualifications in social work or related fields, experience in youth/community services, and hold a current QLD Driver Licence and Blue Card.

Qualifications

• Relevant undergraduate or higher degree qualifications in Social Work, Social Science, Psychology or related discipline.
• Experience in a similar role in the youth or community services sector.
• Current Queensland Provisional Green (P2) or above Drivers Licence.
• Current Working with Children Check (Blue Card) or ability to apply.
• Evidence of vaccination against whooping cough or willingness to obtain prior to commencement.

Responsibilities

• Identify client needs with line manager and deliver services within available resources.
• Build and maintain trusting relationships with clients and stakeholders.
• Support and provide opportunities for life and personal skill development for clients by role modelling.
