Job summary

SRG Global Limited seeks a skilled Condition Monitoring Technician to join our Asset Care team in Gladstone. You will support reliability and maintenance by implementing condition-based monitoring across critical plant and equipment.

Duties include vibration analysis, thermography and oil sampling, sensor installation, balancing and alignment of rotating machinery. You will analyse data, identify trends, and prepare reports with recommendations to maintenance and engineering teams.

Qualifications

• VCAT II Vibration Analysis certification is preferred.
• Oil and Gas sector experience is highly regarded (White Hat).
• 2+ years analysis experience (MHM knowledge advantageous).
• Lubrication 1 certification.
• Thermography training/qualification highly regarded.
• Hands-on mechanical experience with oil/grease sampling.
• Strong communication and people skills.
• Safe work practices and commitment to workplace health and safety.

Responsibilities

• Conduct routine condition monitoring tasks including vibration analysis, thermography, oil sampling and data collection.
• Carrying out sensor installation, in-situ field balancing and alignment of rotating machinery.
• Analyse machine condition data and identify trends and early indications of failure.
• Prepare detailed reports and provide recommendations to maintenance and engineering teams.
