Job summary

Stabilised Pavements Group in Hobart invites applications for concreters to join a dedicated team. You will handle concrete finishing, basic formwork and operate site vehicles, contributing to efficient production while following safety protocols.

Qualifications

• Experience in concreting and formwork.
• White card is required.
• Valid Class C license; MR is a plus.
• Ability to work well in a team.
• Willingness to travel to multiple sites.
• Punctual and reliable; pre-employment medical may be required.

Responsibilities

• All aspects of concrete finishing.
• Basic formwork installation.
• Operate and maintain vehicles and equipment.
• Perform manual tasks such as digging, shovelling and lifting.
• Work in a team and support teammates as needed.

About the role

Reporting to the Operations Manager, you will work with both the leading hand concreters and foreman to set up operations to achieve production requirements within a given time frame.

Duties

• All aspects of concrete finishing
• Basic formworks install
• Operating and maintaining vehicles and equipment
• Preform manual tasks i.e. digging, shovelling, lifting etc.
• Work in a team environment and assist other team members as required
• Demonstrate and implement safe work practices

Skills & Experience

• Experience in concreting and formwork
• White card
• Valid class C drivers licence (MR highly regarded)
• Ability to work in a team environment
• Willingness to travel to various job sites.
• Must be punctual and reliable
• Ability to undertake pre-employment medical
