Job summary

Boral Concrete at the Finley Concrete Plant seeks a dedicated Plant Operator to support efficient batching, loading and day-to-day site operations as part of Building Something Great.

Reporting to the Plant Supervisor, you will manage batching to design specs, operate loaders, handle stock control and participate in safety initiatives. This permanent, full-time role offers overtime and clear career growth within Boral.

Qualifications

• Interest in the concrete industry with on-the-job training.
• Good computer skills across multiple systems and safety reporting.
• Willing to cover multiple plant responsibilities as needed.

Responsibilities

• Accurate batching of orders to mix designs with dedicated programs and systems.
• Safe operation of front-end loader to weigh up materials for batching.
• Managing day to day administration including stock control of raw materials and monthly forecasts.
• Participation in safety initiatives including pre-starts, toolboxes and incident reporting.
• General yard housekeeping and maintenance.
