Job summary

Conundrum Holdings, based in Horsham, VIC, is seeking a full-time Plant Manager to lead the day-to-day operation of the concrete plant and uphold product quality while ensuring compliance with local, state and federal requirements.

The role includes supporting sales activities, budget development, and a focus on a safe, tidy workplace. Training opportunities are available, with above-award remuneration and ongoing wage reviews.

Qualifications

• Previous experience in a similar position with strong technical knowledge of concrete, mix designs and associated products.
• Front End Loader experience is desirable.
• Strong work ethic and flexibility to adapt to changing customer needs.
• High level of problem solving, analytical and planning skills.
• Experience with SAP and UBatch control systems (preferred)
• Honesty, integrity, fairness and a positive attitude.
• High personal hygiene and presentation standards.

Responsibilities

• The successful day to day management and operation of the Concrete Plant.
• That product quality is maintained.
• Compliance with all Local, State and Federal legislative requirements.
• A positive work environment with a focus on maintaining high standards through housekeeping and maintenance.
• Proactively support sales and marketing activities by identifying opportunities, promoting our products and representing the company professionally to help strengthen our market position.
• Developing and enacting the budget for your Area of Work.
• Complying with policies, procedures and applicable legislation, including completing ongoing training, daily checklists and reporting requirements to ensure the safe performance of all duties.
