Job summary

AWX is seeking motivated Concrete Finishers and Pipe Layers for ongoing civil projects based in Townsville. Join a crew delivering concrete works across slabs, pavements, kerbs and related structures.

You'll need experience as a Concrete Finisher or Labourer, a White Card, a current C Class Licence and reliable transport. Townsville locals preferred, relocation considered but you arrange your own move and accommodation.

Qualifications

• Previous experience as a Concrete Finisher, Labourer or Pipe Layer.
• Construction White Card is essential.
• Current C Class Driver's Licence and reliable transport.
• Strong commitment to workplace health and safety.
• Civil and/or commercial concrete experience is advantageous.
• Trade qualifications and additional plant tickets are advantageous.

Responsibilities

• Placing, screeding and finishing concrete.
• Working across slabs, panels, walls, kerb, channel and pavements.
• Reading and interpreting plans.
• Operating hand tools, finishing equipment and small plant.
• Site preparation and general concrete labouring.
• Maintaining high standards of quality and workmanship.
• Working safely as part of a high-performing construction crew.

AWX is seeking Concrete Finishers & Pipe Layers for ongoing Townsville-based civil projects.

About our Role

AWX is partnering with an established construction contractor delivering a strong pipeline of civil and commercial concrete projects across Townsville and surrounding areas. With ongoing work ahead, we are looking to build experienced crews across all levels - from skilled Concrete Labourers through to experienced Concrete Finishers .

We are particularly interested in Townsville locals looking for consistent work, as well as experienced workers from outside the region who are looking to relocate to Townsville for longer-term opportunities.

Please note: relocation and accommodation assistance are not provided. Candidates relocating will need to arrange and fund their own move and accommodation.

What you'll do
