Job summary

Mass Resources is seeking experienced Pipelaying Labourers for ongoing civil construction projects in the Townsville area. Be part of established crews with opportunities across Townsville and surrounds, and contribute to trenching, backfilling, and site-prep activities.

Ideal applicants have pipelaying or civil construction experience, a Construction White Card, a valid driver's licence, and the ability to work safely and physically.

Qualifications

• Previous pipelaying and civil construction experience.
• Construction White Card.
• Current Driver's Licence and reliable transport.
• Experience using hand and power tools.
• Strong commitment to workplace safety.
• Ability to undertake physically demanding work.
• Ability to pass a basic pre-employment medical and drug & alcohol screen.
• Australian work rights suitable for ongoing, long-term employment.

Responsibilities

• Support excavation, drainage, roadworks, concreting and site-preparation activities.
• Assist with trenching, backfilling and underground services.
• Assist pipelayers, plant operators and other civil trades.
• Use hand and power tools as required.
• Install temporary barriers, signage and site controls.
• Spot and assist around mobile plant.
• Maintain tools, equipment and work areas in a safe, clean condition.
• Follow SWMS, traffic-management plans and all project safety procedures.
• Maintain a safe and productive work environment.

Pipelaying Labourers | Townsville Area| Immediate Starts

Mass Resources is currently seeking experienced Pipelaying Labourers for ongoing civil construction projects located in Townsville and surrounding areas.

About the Role

Working as part of established civil construction crews, your duties may include:

• Supporting excavation, drainage, roadworks, concreting and site-preparation activities
• Assisting with trenching, backfilling and underground services
• Assisting pipelayers, plant operators and other civil trades
• Using hand and power tools as required
• Installing temporary barriers, signage and site controls
• Spotting and assisting around mobile plant
• Maintaining tools, equipment and surrounding work areas in a clean and safe condition
• Following SWMS, traffic-management plans and all project safety procedures
• Maintaining a safe and productive work environment

To be Successful You Will Have

• Previous pipelaying and/or Civil Construciton experience working on civil construction projects
• Construction White Card
• Current Driver's Licence and reliable transport
• Experience using hand and power tools
• Strong commitment to workplace safety
• Ability to undertake physically demanding work
• Ability to pass a basic pre-employment medical and drug & alcohol screen
