Job summary

Heidelberg Materials Australia Pty Ltd is seeking a Concrete Batcher to support Concrete Operations across NSW Central Coast. The role is full-time, Monday to Friday with overtime and Saturdays as needed.

Flexibility in hours and locations is required as multiple plants operate in the region. You will batch, load and deliver concrete, maintain stock levels, ensure safety and housekeeping, and contribute to quality control.

Qualifications

• Holds a valid HR licence and safety awareness are essential.
• Front End Loader ticket is advantageous but not essential.
• Demonstrates passion for delivering customer service and great results.
• Team oriented with ability to multi-task and problem solve under pressure.

Responsibilities

• Manage batching and loading of Company fleet for delivery to customers.
• Make decisions impacting overall business performance.
• Quality control and plant maintenance.
• Look after the yard and maintain housekeeping standards.

Job description

We now have a fantastic opportunity for you to join the Heidelberg Materials team as an enthusiastic and professional Concrete Batcher to support Concrete Operations throughout the Central Coast Region of NSW. You will be someone who is passionate about safety, results focused and holds a strong work ethic. Effective communication and a willingness to go the extra mile for our customers is essential. Confidence with computers and previous batching experience will be highly regarded, however we are willing to train the right candidate. This is a full time, Monday to Friday role with overtime and Saturdays in accordance with business needs. Start and finish times will vary, so flexibility is a must. We have multiple plants with Heidelberg Materials & Hymix Australia throughout the NSW Central Coast, so if you are interested in joining the team, we can discuss the most suitable locations for you.

In your new role with us, you will:

• Manage batching and loading of Company fleet for delivery to our valued customers
• Make decisions that impact the overall performance of the business
• Quality control and plant maintenance
• Assume the responsibility of looking after the yard and ensuring housekeeping standards are maintained
• Total commitment to risk management and Zero Harm
• Ensuring stock levels are maintained and ordering of raw materials to meet daily production requirements

Base rate of $34.58 - $39.31 per hour plus super and penalty rates for overtime worked.

We are looking for someone who:

• Hold a valid HR licence - required
• Front End Loader ticket is advantageous, but not essential
• Have a passion for delivering remarkable customer service and great results

• Are a natural problem solver and enjoy planning and troubleshooting
• Want to contribute to the overall performance of the Heidelberg Materials/Hymix business
• Previous Concrete Batching experience will be highly regarded but not essential to be considered for this opportunity - Training will be provided
