Job summary

Heidelberg Materials Australia is seeking an Agitator Driver in Cairns to join our team delivering concrete to customers with modern trucks and safety tech. You'll be part of a supportive, dynamic environment with clear routes, load tracking, and daily variety.

You'll complete a comprehensive 10-day training program and work typical weeks with 50+ hours incl. Saturdays. A HR licence and white card are preferred; pre-employment medical is required.

Qualifications

• Hold a valid Heavy Rigid (HR) licence with previous driving experience (preferred but not essential).
• Possess a current Construction White Card or be willing to obtain one prior to starting.
• Strong people skills with a safety-first mindset.
• Pride in your ride - keeping your truck clean and presentable is important.
• Ability to pass a pre-employment medical, including drug and alcohol testing.

Responsibilities

• Deliver high-quality concrete to customers using modern, well-maintained trucks with advanced safety technology.
• Interact with customers and colleagues, maintaining a positive, safety-focused approach.
• Operate trucks and equipment in a safe, compliant manner and adhere to route maps and load tracking systems.
