Job summary

QT Gold Coast, part of EVT, is seeking a friendly Concierge to help guests enjoy the Gold Coast with insider tips, seamless bookings, and QT flair. You’ll resolve issues on the spot and take pride in turning stays into memorable experiences.

Ideal candidates bring hospitality experience, strong local knowledge, and a proactive, solutions-focused mindset. The role involves evenings, weekends, and public holidays in a dynamic hotel setting.

Qualifications

• Experience in a concierge, guest services, or similar customer-facing hospitality role is highly regarded.
• Strong local knowledge of the Gold Coast or willingness to build it quickly.
• Excellent communication skills and a confident, professional manner.
• A proactive, solutions-focused approach to guest requests, big or small.
• Ability to multi-task and stay composed during busy periods.
• Flexibility to work a rotating roster, including evenings, weekends, and public holidays.
• A team player who brings energy and genuine care to every guest interaction.

Responsibilities

• Welcome and assist guests with genuine warmth, offering local recommendations and insider knowledge of the Gold Coast.
• Arrange restaurant bookings, tours, transport, and tickets to local attractions and events.
• Manage luggage services, valet coordination, and other arrival and departure logistics.
• Respond promptly to guest requests, resolving issues or escalating where required to ensure a great outcome.
• Maintain strong knowledge of hotel facilities, promotions, and the wider Gold Coast area.
• Liaise with front office, housekeeping, and other departments to ensure a seamless guest experience.
• Maintain a well-presented concierge desk and lobby area at all times.
• Uphold hotel policies, procedures, and WHS guidelines at all times.

About the Role

Just steps from Surfers Paradise beach, QT Gold Coast is a playful, design-led resort with a retro, Palm Springs-inspired spirit running through everything from the poolside Spring to our signature dining at Yamagen and Stingray.

We're looking for a Concierge who can match that energy, helping guests make the most of the Gold Coast with insider tips, seamless bookings, and that unmistakable QT flair.
