BHP Group is recruiting a Component Fitter I for the Mackay Repair Centre in Queensland, Australia. You will rebuild heavy mobile earthmoving equipment, primarily CAT components, and work on the Mackay site. The role includes mentoring trainees and ensuring safety as a core value.

Join a team focused on quality, safety and hands-on maintenance of CAT and Komatsu systems, with a 4/3 roster and competitive remuneration.

Qualifications

• Quality focused in component overhauls.
• Experience working on CAT Power-train components.
• Knowledgeable with CAT SIS systems and parts listings.
• Komatsu component rebuild experience, including 930E rear wheel end and front wheel corner.
• Proven commitment to safety.

Responsabilités

• Rebuild engines, transmissions, torque converters, wheel ends and differentials.
• Diagnosing, analysing and repairing components.
• Creating a safe learning environment through mentoring our trainees and apprentices.
